The main Flippa alternatives for a SaaS or app are Acquire.com (the biggest pool of SaaS buyers), Microns (no listing fee), TrustMRR and SAASALE (verified revenue, a small closing fee), VerifyArr (verified revenue, no fees at all) and a broker such as Empire Flippers for larger deals. Which one fits depends on your deal size and whether you want the marketplace to handle the money.

People usually look for an alternative to Flippa for one of three reasons. Its 10% success fee is a large slice of a small deal. It lists every kind of online business, so SaaS buyers are a smaller share of its audience. Or they want buyers to see verified revenue without having to opt in to it. Fees below were checked on each company's own site in October 2026 and are linked.

What does Flippa charge?

Flippa charges a listing fee from $29 for a business asking under $10,000, plus a 10% success fee on self-service listings when it sells (Flippa pricing). Larger listings pay $49 to $699 for six months depending on the package, and the brokered service starts at $399 upfront. Buyers browse for free, with an optional Premium plan at $49 a month that shows new listings 21 days early. Payment goes through FlippaPay (from 1%) or Escrow.com (from 1.2%).

On a $40,000 sale, that is $4,000 in success fee plus the listing fee and your share of escrow.

Which Flippa alternative is cheapest?

VerifyArr, because it charges nothing to list or sell. After that, TrustMRR and SAASALE charge a few percent at closing, Microns charges 6% to 10% with no listing fee, and Acquire.com charges 6% to 8% plus a monthly listing fee. Empire Flippers, at 15%, is the most expensive but runs the sale for you.

The same $40,000 sale on each:

Platform Approximate seller cost
Flippa $4,000 success fee, plus listing fee and half of escrow
Acquire.com $3,200 at 8%, plus $25 or more a month while listed
Microns $3,200 at 8%
TrustMRR $1,200 at 3%, plus the listing tier and half of Escrow.com's fee
SAASALE About $740 to $1,120 for the seller's half of the commission, plus $49
Empire Flippers $10,000 (the minimum fee)
VerifyArr $0, plus escrow if you choose to use one

The cheaper options do less for you. VerifyArr doesn't handle contracts or escrow, so you agree those with the buyer, while TrustMRR, SAASALE and Acquire.com build Escrow.com into the sale. For a closer look at the two verified-revenue marketplaces, see VerifyArr vs TrustMRR.

Which alternatives verify revenue?

TrustMRR, SAASALE and VerifyArr require every seller to connect a payment provider, so the numbers on a listing come from Stripe, RevenueCat or another provider rather than from the seller. Acquire.com and Flippa offer a connection but don't require it, so check for the badge before you trust a number. Microns doesn't say how it checks the metrics it shows.

If you're the seller, verified revenue saves you a round of screenshots and makes buyers more confident at a given price. If you're the buyer, it's the first thing to look for: how to verify a startup's revenue before buying covers what to check when it's missing.

What if you're not selling a SaaS?

Flippa's strength is breadth: content sites, e-commerce stores, domains and newsletters all sell there. For those, the SaaS-focused marketplaces above are a poor fit. Empire Flippers takes content and e-commerce businesses that meet its profit and history requirements, and Motion Invest specialises in content sites. For a SaaS or a subscription app, a marketplace built for software will put you in front of more of the right buyers.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free alternative to Flippa?

Yes. VerifyArr charges no listing fee and no commission; you connect Stripe or RevenueCat with a read-only key and list for free. It doesn't handle escrow or contracts, so you arrange those with the buyer.

Is Acquire.com better than Flippa for SaaS?

For a SaaS above about $50,000, usually yes: Acquire.com is built for startups and its buyers are looking for software, and its closing fee of 6% to 8% is lower than Flippa's 10%. For a very small SaaS, its monthly listing fee can outweigh that.

Can I list on Flippa and another marketplace at the same time?

Usually, unless you sign an exclusive agreement, which brokers often ask for. Read each platform's terms first, and keep the asking price the same everywhere.

What is the best Flippa alternative for a mobile app?

One that verifies app revenue: TrustMRR and VerifyArr both read RevenueCat, and TrustMRR also connects to the App Store directly. How to sell a mobile app covers the App Store and Google Play transfer.
