Acceptable Use Policy

The product's only real claim is that the numbers are real. Most of what follows exists to protect that claim, and the rest is the ordinary business of not being a nuisance.
Do not misrepresent revenue
Connect a Stripe account that genuinely belongs to the business you are listing, and that reflects how it actually earns money. Do not route someone else's revenue through it, inflate it with charges you fund yourself, or connect an account that covers only the flattering part of the business.
This is the one rule the whole marketplace rests on. Breaking it costs the account, not a warning.
List only what you can sell
List a business you own or are authorised to sell. Describe it accurately, including what a buyer is actually getting — the code, the domain, the customers, the brand — and what they are not. Do not list the same business as though it were several, and do not leave a sold listing up to attract attention.
Do not impersonate anyone
Use your own identity. Do not claim to be another person or company, use a name or logo you have no right to, or set up accounts to make a listing look more popular or more contested than it is.
Do not abuse contact details
A seller's contact channel is published so buyers can ask about the business. Use it for that. Do not collect contact details in bulk, add anyone to a mailing list, or send unsolicited pitches, recruitment or spam of any kind.
Do not abuse messages
Messages are for talking to a founder or a buyer about a business. Do not use them to send spam, the same pitch to many people, recruitment, or anything the other person has made clear they do not want. No harassment, threats or abuse, and no asking for a password, a Stripe key or a payment under false pretences.
Every conversation has a Report link, which emails us about it. We may read a reported conversation to decide what to do.
Do not abuse comments
Comments are public, and are for questions and honest views about the business on the page. Do not use them for spam, for advertising something else, or to harass or abuse anyone, and do not post what you know to be false about a founder or their numbers.
Every comment has a report link, which emails us about it. We may remove a comment, and an account banned for spam or abuse has all of its comments taken down.
Do not attack or scrape the service
No automated scraping, no attempts to work around rate limits, no probing for vulnerabilities in ways that affect anyone else, and no trying to reach data that is not yours — including other people's drafts, unpublished listings or Stripe keys.
If you find a security problem, tell us at legal@verifyarr.com before telling anyone else. We will not pursue you for a report made in good faith that stops at proving the problem exists.
Do not use the platform for anything illegal
No listings for businesses whose revenue comes from fraud, stolen data, malware, or anything else unlawful where you or the buyer are. No money laundering, and no using the site to evade sanctions.
What happens when this is broken
Depending on what happened, we may unpublish a listing, remove a comment, ban the account, or more than one of these. You will be told the reason. Falsified revenue, attacks on the service and illegal listings do not get a warning first.
If you think a listing, a message or a comment breaks this policy, email legal@verifyarr.com with a link and what you have noticed.
